Climb through bamboo on the slopes of the Virunga volcanoes for an hour in the company of a mountain gorilla family, then return to a fireside lodge facing the peaks.

Genesis Tours & Travel is a Kigali-based travel company creating private journeys across East, Central and Southern Africa. Starting from Rwanda puts the gorilla forests on our doorstep and the great safari regions a short flight away.
We work with a small circle of guides, camps and lodges we return to again and again, so every recommendation we make is one we would choose for ourselves.
